Estonian PM: We don’t have a plan B in case of Ukraine’s defeat

Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has called on Western states to strengthen military support for Ukraine, given that if Russia wins, her own country, Estonia, will become the next target of aggression.

Kallas noted that the Estonian government allocates more than 1% of its GDP to support Ukraine.

Quote: “If every Nato country did this, Ukraine would win,” Kaja Kallas said.

The Estonian PM was asked if the country had a “plan B” in case Ukraine lost the current war and the Russian invasion was ultimately successful.

Quote: “We have no Plan B for a Russian victory, because then we would stop focussing on Plan A,” Kallas said, referring to helping Ukraine resist the Russian invasion.

Quote: “We should not give in to pessimism. Victory in Ukraine is not just about territory.  If Ukraine joins Nato, even without some territory, then that’s a victory because it will be placed under the Nato umbrella,” Kallas said.

The Estonian PM stressed that Russia is waging a hybrid war against the West and “wants to sow fear in our societies.”

Background:

  • Earlier, Kaja Kallas said there is enough support for Ukraine from the free world, but fear hinders it.
  • Kallas also believes that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin is seeking to use the threat of mass migration to divide and weaken Europe in its support for Ukraine.

  1. ‘If Ukraine joins Nato, even without some territory, then that’s a victory because it will be placed under the Nato umbrella,” Kallas said.’

Finally some awesome brave person understood my point. 👏

  2. Is she willing to give up, say Narva, to putler, in exchange for a worthless peace agreement?

    • You call Ukraine’s Nato membership worthless? We live in a dire reality, not wishful thinking. If Ukraine can defeat ruSSia and Will receive all arms to achieve this goal, if ever possible, so be it. If not, let’s start thinking about protecting Ukrainian lives.

      • She’s presumably talking about a hypothetical “land for peace” deal that leaves putler permanently with 20% of Ukraine and the remaining 80% protected by Nato?

Firstly, Nato consists of enough shit countries to block Ukraine indefinitely, unless the “unanimous” rule is dropped. We already know that no offer to join will be extended to Ukraine at the summit this summer.

But let’s say that Nato does agree. How will Ukrainians feel after 10+ years of genocide, to reward a gang of nazi filth?

Restoring Ukraine’s legal borders removes the one remaining obstacle to membership; country is intact; no occupiers, no excuse.

However, if Zel believes he can sell such a deal to Ukrainians in return for peace, who am I to object?

What putler wants is well-known: all the land he claims, plus permanent “neutral” status; ie permanent putinaZi puppet rule for Ukraine.

The only way to get a viable deal from putler is to totally crush the bastard.

  3. Plan B would be for NATO member troops digging their own trenches along their respective borders. It’s anyone’s guess if they could stop the combined armies of mafia land and Ukraine, which would then also be their enemy.
There is also a plan C … roll over on their backs and surrender.
