The Chinese state-owned Sinopec Group has suspended talks on significant investments in the petrochemical industry and gas marketing in Russia.

It is reported by Reuters , citing its sources.

“Chinese Sinopec, heeding the government’s call for caution in connection with the strengthening of sanctions, has suspended negotiations on major investments in a Russian gas chemical plant and a Russian gas marketing facility in China,” the report said.

It is noted that investments were planned at the level of half a billion dollars.
