Russian Su-34 pilot Alexander Krasnoyartsev spoke in more detail about how he was captured. After ejection and landing, he killed an unarmed resident of the Chernihiv region.

Krasnoyartsev shared this information in an interview with Ukrainian blogger Vladimir Zolkin.

The pilot was shot down on the outskirts of Chernihiv. He landed on the roof of the house and heard the voices of people behind the fence. The townspeople shouted: “Russian, come out.”

Krasnoyartsev decided to run and hide in a barn next door. According to the pilot, he was chased by an unknown man with a pitchfork or something similar. The occupier fired and killed an unarmed Ukrainian. Krasnoyartsev justifies his actions by “automatism”, they say, the brain gave commands to hide and shoot. The pilot said that he later repeatedly regretted using the weapon.

Recall that Alexander Krasnoyartsev was shot down during the third flight. According to the pilot, before that he bombed the airport in the Kiev region and roads south of Chernihiv. When the occupier’s plane was shot down, it had six uncontrolled 500-kilogram FAB-500 bombs on board.
