The Russian missile-carrying corvette “Boykiy” was hit by drones in the port of Kronstadt . This was reported by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Robert (Madyar) Brovdi on Telegram .
In particular, according to him, in Kronstadt, drones of the 1st Separate Center of Unmanned Systems Forces “hunted down and set fire to the corvette “Boykii”, a carrier of guided missile weapons.”
He noted that the Veleshchinsky dry dock in Kronstadt, where Ukrainian drones were sent, is the cradle of the Russian Navy.
At the same time, the corvette “Boykiy” began scheduled repairs in February 2026. This ship belongs to project 20380 and is the third corvette of the Baltic Fleet of the Navy. Previously, this corvette had not been attacked. It was launched in 2011, and since 2013 it has been in service.
According to Magyar, this corvette “has an enchanting history of travels and adventures along NATO borders, accompanying the shadow oil fleet” of the Russians.
In turn, as reported on the X network by the co-owner and chief designer of the Ukrainian drone manufacturer Fire Point, Denis Shtilerman , the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum begins today, where foreign guests have arrived, including Rodney Mims Cook Jr., chairman of the Fine Arts Commission under the administration of US President Donald Trump.
According to Stillerman, it was decided to hit two ships.
“Because of such distinguished guests and the importance of the event itself, we could not ignore it – and urgently flew to St. Petersburg. But there is a nuance… We really wanted to arrange an excursion for the guests to the cruiser “Moscow”, but, unfortunately, we were unable to bring it – so we had to cancel two other ships already at the event site,” Shtilerman emphasized.
A blow to St. Petersburg and Tambov
As UNIAN reported, today, June 3, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed that, according to preliminary information, ships and infrastructure facilities were hit in the port of Kronstadt. However, exact details were not disclosed, as the extent of the damage was being clarified.
The St. Petersburg oil terminal was also successfully hit .
In addition, President Zelensky confirmed the hit on an enterprise in the Tambov region, which is involved in the production of Russian weapons. This is the “Michurinsk Plant “Progress”. The enterprise specializes in the production of devices for control systems of Russian aviation and missile technology.
