According to media reports, an old Albatros-M class ship caught fire in Sevastopol, while Ukrainian intelligence destroyed Russian radars and air defense facilities the day before.
A Russian Project 1124-M Albatros-M anti-submarine warfare ship, part of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, caught fire in occupied Sevastopol , according to the Telegram channel ” Krymskiy Veter .”
As noted, the fire occurred on November 3, but the vessel was not immediately identified – the superstructure was covered with camouflage nets.
Eyewitnesses reported that it was a Project 1124-M Albatros-M small antisubmarine ship. According to the channel, only four such ships, built in the 1980s, remain in the Russian Black Sea Fleet: the Muromets, Suzdalets, Kasimov, and Yeysk. Two of them were evacuated to the Novorossiysk base in 2024, while the rest remained in Sevastopol.
