Macron wants an Olympic truce for the benefit of his career. Putler won’t buy it anyway, yet Macron still allows putinaZi athletes to compete as “neutrals.”

It seems that now we will hear no more of Macron’s nebulous plans to send troops to Ukraine until after the Olympics, if at all.
Wait a moment, Scradge, under the current circumstance, where Russia has the upper hand and the AFU is still handicapped by the shortage of shells, missiles and reinforcements, a ceasefire will actually benefit Uiraine! So, Macron’s proposal shouldn’t be dismissed so easily, is worth of serious consideration.

The chances of the rashists adhering to a cease-fire are highly unlikely if not totally ridiculous.
Yeah, most probably, Sir Bill. But the rejection of a truce during the Olympics will expose Russia to the world as a war mongering regime with no humanitarian ideals. So, Macron’s suggestion is ok, doesn’t harm Ukraine.

On this, I agree with you, Mr. Gray. We shouldn’t trounce on this idea. Although it’s highly unlikely to work, if it were to work it could benefit Ukraine. If not, it (once again) exposes mafia land as the warmongering shithole that it is.
Besides the cease fire request, inviting mafia land to the Normandy celebration but without putler is also an interesting concept. At first, I was angered, seeing that mafia land was never involved in the landings, and it should be shunned by every international celebration. However, what will mafia land do in this case? Macron has put the fascist rats into a bind. Do it without putler and be damned, don’t do it, also be damned.
