Agents of the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar military partisan movement “Atesh” sabotaged a railway near a missile and artillery depot in Russia’s Tver region. A fire broke out there, causing problems for the Russians.
This was reported on the movement’s Telegram channel . Footage of the “cotton” in the area of the village of Stara Toropa was also published.
According to the saboteurs, this section of the road is used to supply the occupiers to the front with ammunition from the 23rd and 107th arsenals of the Main Directorate of Missile and Artillery Management, which are strategically important facilities for the Russian military infrastructure.
It is noted that the 107th arsenal of the GRAU, which is located in Toropets and occupies an area of about 5 sq. km, stores Iskander ballistic missiles, Tochka-U missiles, as well as shells for large-caliber artillery and ammunition for MLRS, such as Smerch and Grad.
The 23rd GRAU arsenal, located 16 km south of Toropets, is smaller in area but stores significant stocks of tank and artillery shells, high-explosive fragmentation mines and mortar ammunition, as well as anti-tank missiles and guided missiles.
Atesh emphasized that these arsenals provide a significant portion of logistics for Russian troops on the front line. Therefore, the sabotage made it difficult to send ammunition, disrupting an important supply line.
“Damage to the railway deprives the enemy of the opportunity to quickly restore its resources on the front line. We continue to strike at the key infrastructure of the occupiers and invite everyone who is ready to join our struggle,” the message says.
As OBOZ.UA reported, in September 2024, in the village of Oktyabrsky, Tver region of the Russian Federation, strike drones attacked the 23rd military arsenal of the GRAU of the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country. After the explosions, the detonation of ammunition began.
