American actress and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie stopped by the Spadkoyemets boxing club in Kharkiv during her latest trip to Ukraine, where her son Knox participated in a Thai boxing session alongside Ukrainian service members.
Representatives of the sports facility shared details of the visit on Instagram on September 7, following reports of the star traveling through several Ukrainian cities, including Ternopil, Lviv, Kremenchuk, and Kharkiv.
During the visit, Knox joined local defenders for a Muay Thai workout in the facility’s training hall. Representatives from the club expressed their appreciation online, writing: “Recently, completely by chance, Angelina Jolie visited us. Her son Knox, together with defenders, conducted his Thai boxing training. We are very grateful and happy that you chose our gym!”
The trip marks Jolie’s third visit to the country since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In 2022, she traveled to Lviv to meet with displaced residents and children injured during a missile strike on the Kramatorsk railway station.
She made a subsequent trip in November 2025, visiting the southern regions of Kherson and Mykolaiv.
Earlier, Angelina Jolie visited the city of Kherson as part of a humanitarian mission to support civilians impacted by the full-scale invasion.
During her trip, she toured medical facilities, including a maternity and a children’s hospital, while wearing a bulletproof vest with Ukrainian insignia.
To honor her commitment, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration presented her with a commemorative “Kherson” coin.
