The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense is behind the attack on military infrastructure in occupied Sevastopol .
As LIGA.net reports , citing an intelligence source, the object against which it was directed has been disabled.
“Successful operation. The facility, which was involved in powering military infrastructure, has been disabled,” the source noted.
The interlocutor emphasized that all statements by the occupation administration about an alleged malfunction are “a traditional lie of Russian propaganda and the authorities.”
“In the end, we observe this even when there is objective evidence, in particular photo or video evidence of the success of certain operations. They still try to deny everything,” he noted.
The source added that even the local population understands that such information is not true.

It may be reasonable to attack some Russian power stations, when this disrupts defence installations, or when long term distruction hinders arms production, but generally, Ukraine shouldn’t react on Russian strikes on the Ukrainian energy grid in this retaliatory way. It’s much more efficient to use the limited stock of long range missiles and drones for targetting fuel infrastructure, strategic air bases and important factories. As the old saying goes, “revenge is a dish best served cold”!
