Air defenses strengthened around Moscow: Zelensky gave the military a special assignment

Moscow is more worried about the parade than about protecting Russian regions.

Russia is exposing remote regions by moving air defense assets to Moscow on a large scale . This opens up additional opportunities for the use of Ukrainian long-range weapons. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram following a report by the head of the State Defense Committee, Oleg Ivashchenko.

Air defense systems are being strengthened around Moscow

As the president stated, he gave the GUR separate tasks regarding the Russian air defense system today.

“We see that in these weeks the air defense rings around Moscow are further expanding due to the large-scale movement of air defense from Russian regions,” Zelensky emphasized.

As the head of state is convinced, this shows that “the Russian leadership is not preparing for the ceasefire, about which so many statements have been made, and is more worried about its parade in Moscow than about the rest of Russia.”

“At the same time, we note that this opens up additional opportunities for our long-range sanctions. Our corresponding priorities will be determined,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
