Lieutenant Colonel Yevgeny Ivanov died while carrying out a combat mission aboard a Su-27 aircraft in the east, the Ukrainian Air Force reported on Telegram .

“At midday on December 8, 2025, in the eastern direction, while carrying out a combat mission on a Su-27 aircraft, Lieutenant Colonel Evgeny Vitalyevich Ivanov, senior navigator of the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade, died,” the statement reads.

In this regard, it is noted that he died in battle, but the circumstances are being clarified.
