Counterintelligence of the Security Service exposed an FSB agent group that was coordinating racist air attacks on the Defense Forces in the Donetsk , Dnipropetrovsk, and Kirovohrad regions.

As a result of a multi-stage special operation, SBU officers simultaneously detained four enemy informants in the eastern and central regions of Ukraine.

As the investigation found, the defendants acted separately from each other, but had a common supervisor from the Russian Federation.

What objects were the traitors interested in?

As noted, the enemy’s priority “targets” were logistical warehouses with weapons and ammunition of the Defense Forces, as well as Ukrainian air defense combat positions .

In addition, agents collected data on the locations of the largest concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

What is known about traitors?

It was established that the attackers came to the attention of the Russian special services when they published anti-Ukrainian comments in Telegram channel chats.

One of the network members turned out to be a former employee of a machine-building plant from Kramatorsk , who was scouting for the enemy the geolocation of operational airfields and fortifications in the region.

Two more agents “leaked” coordinates of Ukrainian military facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region to the Russians. Among them is a utility company employee from Kamiansky and a deserter from Pavlohrad .

Also in the Kirovohrad region , an unemployed man from Znamenka was detained. On the instructions of the FSB, he walked around the city and recorded geolocations that, in his opinion, were used by the Defense Forces.

“For the purpose of conspiracy, the defendants transferred intelligence to a Russian intelligence officer via an anonymous chat in the messenger, and also deleted the correspondence after each communication session,” the SBU explained.

Detention and suspicions

• SBU employees exposed the subversive activities of enemy agents in advance, documented their crimes, and detained all four participants.
• During the searches, mobile phones containing evidence of FSB work were seized from the detainees.
• Investigators of the Security Service informed the defendants of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
