Hundreds of drones attacked Russia’s Krasnodar region overnight , with residents of Novorossiysk complaining that it was perhaps the most massive attack in recent times. There were reports of drone strikes and fires in many areas of the city, including the port, oil terminal and Russian Navy shipyard.

Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said that the Krasnodar Territory repelled a “massive attack by several hundred Ukrainian Armed Forces drones” at night.

According to him, Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik and Temryutsky districts were hit. He also reported that drone debris fell on four enterprises.

Telegram channels are publishing photos and videos with columns of black smoke in the sky, and the NASA Firms service is recording numerous fires in the city after the attack.

According to Exilenova+ , the Novorossiysk Bread Products Plant was attacked in Novorossiysk. A fire is currently underway on the territory of the enterprise.

This is a large grain transshipment complex in the port of Novorossiysk, designed to receive, store and load grain onto sea vessels for further export. It includes two elevators and a complex of port facilities. The total storage capacity of the enterprise is 300 thousand tons, and the depths near the quay wall allow receiving and processing vessels with a deadweight of up to 72 thousand tons.

Strikes on Russia

On the night of August 11, drones attacked the Wildberries logistics complex in Voronezh – one of the company’s largest facilities in the region, which burned to the ground.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also confirmed the damage to the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in Orsk . It is reported that this is one of the largest refineries in the Orenburg region, which plays an important role in the fuel and energy sector of Russia.

And such results are achieved despite the fact that, according to experts, only 5–9% of missiles and drones launched by Ukraine overcome Russian air defense .
