“400 drones simultaneously hit equipment”: Zelensky spoke about another Ukrainian operation

Yesterday’s “Web” and other operations have restored allies’ faith in Ukraine, the president says.

Ukraine does not want to fight and demonstrate its strength, but it does so because Russia does not plan to stop. As reported by a UNIAN correspondent, Zelensky told journalists during a conversation on ZOOM, commenting, in particular, on the successful operation to destroy the Russian strategic military aviation.

The head of state noted that Ukraine had been preparing a number of operations and had now demonstrated its capabilities, which indicate that the entire narrative of the Russians, which they are spreading in Europe and everywhere else, that they are safe, that they will win this war, is not working.

“They are not safe. I am talking about military targets. Yesterday there were 40 targets – military targets, carriers that are hitting us or threatening to hit us. And that have taken many Ukrainian lives. Today I saw the mood of the “nine” plus other countries – everyone thinks that Ukraine has once again demonstrated that not everything depends on the number of people that Russia does not spare and kills. Its own people, its own citizens,” Zelensky said.

The President stressed that Ukraine had previously carried out another “powerful operation,” but it was not as noticeable as “Web.”

“These are different levels of operations. This one (on military airfields) is historical. And before that, there was an operation – 400 drones simultaneously hit military equipment and there were more than 40 types of different equipment: artillery, air defense, armored vehicles, tanks were destroyed in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. This is a different operation. Also a drone operation, but of a different nature and a different level,” Zelensky noted.

He emphasized that these are operations specifically against military targets on Russian territory, in the temporarily occupied territories from where attacks on Ukraine are carried out.

Thus, as Zelensky said, Ukraine is saying that we “are not going to give up and we are not going to give in to any ultimatums, but we do not want to fight.”

“We do not want to demonstrate our strength, but we demonstrate it because the enemy does not want to stop. And we demonstrate it fairly, for military purposes. And we also demonstrate it not only to the Russian aggressors, but to all those of our allies who were strong allies, but began to doubt. Trust in Ukrainians and faith in Ukraine have returned. I believe that the result of the operation is very good,” the president commented.

He noted that Ukraine proves that everything does not depend on the number of troops, but on the will, on values, on technology and on the help of partners, whose unity is very important.

“Yesterday, Ukraine carried out the operation on its own. But we have constantly emphasized that we have several operations, but we do not have enough equipment, we are asking for internal funding,” Zelensky added.
