Tajiks are asked not to travel to Russia unless absolutely necessary.
Tajikistan called on its citizens to temporarily refrain from traveling to Russia. This is stated in a statement by the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs .
“Urgent recommendation to citizens of Tajikistan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan recommends that citizens of the country temporarily refrain from traveling to Russian territory by all types of transport unless absolutely necessary,” the message says.
The reasons for such a recommendation, especially the “urgent” one, are not indicated.

Just closing the border crossings would do a better job to prevent morons from entering mafia land and to be nabbed as potential meat puppets. Don’t they know of the dangers already? Or, do their press do such a bad job at informing the people as those in the West?
