As a result of the enemy strike, people who were vacationing in the Black Sea coast area were killed and wounded.

The mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, commented on the missile attack on Odessa , which the Russian invaders carried out on the evening of April 29.

“Unfortunately, the death toll is growing. A young woman died in the hospital. There is a struggle for the life of a man – he is in intensive care (later it became known that a man died in the hospital, but it is not known whether we are talking about the same person – UNIAN),”  said the mayor.

According to him, most of the victims were simply out for a walk near the Black Sea coast.

“Freaks, creatures, inhumans, scoundrels… I don’t know what else you can call them and what else you can say to them… Odessa, people walk by the sea, and they shoot, kill. That’s what they say to their stupid suckers, that they allegedly defend themselves by killing people, killing children,” Trukhanov emphasized.

He added that doctors are now examining a small child, a boy, who was injured. He is only 4.5 years old.

The mayor of Odessa noted that the invaders were hitting peaceful people who were simply relaxing after a working day: walking with small children and pets.

“There are no words that can express our attitude towards those creatures who shell our cities. Russia is a terrorist country,” Trukhanov emphasized.

The Russian army launched a missile strike on Odessa . It is known that four civilians were killed – three women and a man. According to the mayor of the city, Gennady Trukhanov, 32 people were injured – 25 are in hospitals, among them two children and a pregnant woman.

The girl, who is not even five years old, is in extremely serious condition. Six other adults are also in intensive care.

In addition, there is damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. According to preliminary data, the strike was probably carried out by a ballistic missile with a cluster warhead. The Palace of Students of the National University “Odessa Academy of Law”, which the population calls “Harry Potter’s Castle” because of the unusual shape of the building, was hit.

Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Kivalov was wounded. The man was taken to hospital with bleeding. He is an academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, president of the National University “Odessa Law Academy”.
