“A ginger monkey with zero intelligence”: Ukrainian lawmaker launches scathing attack on Trump

Ukrainian MP Liza Bohutska, a member of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Servant of the People party, has launched a blistering attack on US President Donald Trump, questioning his intelligence, capacity for empathy, and the motives behind his political decisions.
She compared the American leader to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, accused him of being obsessed with money, and referred to him as a “ginger monkey” in a post on her Facebook page.
“Nemtsov once called Putin FUCKING CRAZY (original language preserved — ed.). He wasn’t wrong. It was an absolutely accurate description of the Russian leader’s personal and leadership qualities. Today, I’m saying exactly the same thing about Trump: HE’S FUCKING CRAZY TOO!” the lawmaker wrote.
Bohutska stressed that her remarks were neither a joke nor an attempt at irony. She claimed to have been raising concerns about the American politician’s behavior for two years and has repeatedly urged specialists to examine his cognitive abilities.
“A man with zero intelligence. A complete lack of empathy and an overwhelming obsession with money,” Bohutska wrote, describing Trump.
Her criticism did not stop there. Commenting on the US president’s latest public statements, the Ukrainian lawmaker used another openly insulting description.
“I don’t want to repeat the latest pearls of wisdom from the ginger monkey. There will be plenty of that on the internet today,” she wrote.
Bohutska also addressed Trump’s attitude toward Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. She rejected suggestions that the American leader had suddenly changed his position toward Zelensky, pointing instead to their earlier confrontation at the White House.
“What sudden ‘change’? Remember their first meeting at the WH (White House — ed.). Trump publicly humiliated Volodymyr Oleksandrovych in front of the entire world,” she wrote.
According to Bohutska, she viewed Trump’s behavior during that meeting as a deliberate humiliation of Ukrainian dignity and an attempt to demonstrate his own perceived greatness.
The lawmaker also suggested that Trump andPutin have become politically dependent on one another. In her view, the Russian leader has an interest in Trump’s political success, while the American president may make decisions that help the Kremlin achieve its objectives in Ukraine.
Bohutska went further, alleging that Putin could be helping Trump manipulate elections and secure financial benefits. However, she provided no evidence to support these accusations in her post.
“Trump is LOSING. Already. Putin is LOSING. Already,” she declared.
The Ukrainian MP argued that Trump and Putin have far more in common than their age. She again questioned their intellectual abilities and mocked the American president’s public remarks.
In contrast, Bohutska expressed strong support for Zelensky, arguing that his age, stamina, and personal qualities would allow him to stand up to both leaders.
“He will outdo those two idiotic old men in every possible way, right before the eyes of the entire world. We will see it happen,” Bohutska wrote.
She concluded her emotional post with a message of support for the Ukrainian president:
“Stay strong, Mr. President!”

Re. Nemtsov, Yeltsin’s switch from him to putler was a most terrible catastrophe. He was an incredible politician. Fearless, wise beyond his years, kind and compassionate. He would have taken Russia into civilisation.
