President Volodymyr Zelensky notes that the entire territory of Ukraine will be liberated from Russian occupation.

The head of state said this in his video message.

“Today, here in Kyiv, in the heart of our country, we are taking decisive steps for the security of the entire community of free peoples. We see who threatens us. Who is ready to kill and maim. Who does not stop at any savagery just to expand their zone of control,” Zelensky said.

The President recalled that on February 24, the first full-scale strike that Russia inflicted on Ukraine took place.

“Russia would not have stopped at our borders if we had not stopped it. Other states would have been under attack: the Baltic countries, Poland, Moldova and Georgia, Kazakhstan. Russia claimed to conquer various peoples of Europe and Asia. It claimed half a year ago. This the criminal ambition is broken in Ukraine. It was broken near Kyiv and Chernigov, in Azovstal, in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, on Serpentine. It will be broken in the Donbass and in the south of Ukraine when we liberate them. Definitely in the Crimea – in the free, Ukrainian Crimea,” Zelensky stressed.

“The entire territory of our country will be liberated from this enemy, an enemy not only of Ukraine, but also of life itself, humanity, law and truth. Russia already knows this. It feels our power. It sees that it is here in Ukraine that we bring the strength of our values, and that is why she is in a hurry, arranging this farce and attempts at annexation, trying to steal what does not belong to her. She wants to rewrite history and redraw borders with murders, torture, blackmail and lies,” the head stressed and assured that Ukraine would not allow this.

Zelensky’s speech: details

On September 30,  Zelensky said that it was impossible to agree on coexistence with Vladimir Putin, so Ukraine would conduct a dialogue with another Russian president.

The head of state stressed that “only the path of strengthening Ukraine and expelling the occupiers from all its territory returns peace.”

Zelensky assured that Ukraine has been and remains a leader in the negotiation efforts.
