According to the president, the application will be submitted in an expedited manner.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that he has filed an application to join NATO .
He announced this during the next video message.
“De facto, we have already made our way to NATO. De facto, we have already proven compatibility with the Alliance’s standards. They are real for Ukraine – real on the battlefield and in all aspects of our interaction,” the president commented.
“We trust each other, we help each other, and we protect each other. This is the Alliance. De facto. Today, Ukraine is applying to do this de jure. In a procedure that will be consistent with our importance to protect all of our communities. In an expedited manner,” Zelensky explained.
The head of state noted that Ukraine is taking its decisive step by signing an application for accelerated accession to NATO.

Ukraine is protecting Europe so if NATO wants to uphold their charter they will take Ukraine in asap. If not, they are allowing Putin’s evil war machine to succeed and they will have a MUCH larger problem in the future. If any country denies Ukraine this opportunity they should be suspended from voting until the war is over.
