According to James Dimon, a major global conflict is not a question of “if” but a question of “when.”
The current wars in Ukraine and the Middle East already mark the beginning of the third world war . This was stated by the head of the largest commercial bank of the USA JP Morgan James Dimon, reports Newsweek .

He called Russia, North Korea and Iran an “axis of evil” that, together with China, would harm institutions such as NATO.
“And they’re talking about doing it now. They’re not talking about waiting 20 years. So the risk of that is extremely high if you read the history,” the billionaire noted.
According to him, because of this, a large-scale global conflict is not a question of “if” but a question of “when”:
“World War III has already begun. You already have battles on earth that are being coordinated across several countries.”
Dimon also said the United States needs to avoid naivety and allow larger global events to unfold without any intervention.
“What we have to think about is that we can’t risk this resolving itself. We have to make sure that we’re involved in doing the right things to resolve this properly,” Dimon added.
At the same time, according to him, there is a possibility that the threat of a new world war may decrease over time, but the consequences could be dire if things continue as they are.
“I’m talking about the risk for us if these things go south. We’re running scenarios that will shock you. I don’t even want to think about them,” the banker said.
He also noted the threats from Russia as a nuclear power and called it the biggest risk facing humanity:
“We’ve never had a situation where a guy threatens nuclear blackmail: ‘If your army starts winning, we’ll deploy nuclear weapons.’ This is not climate change, this is nuclear proliferation. We have to be very careful about what we’re trying to achieve in the next couple of years.”
The threat of a third world war
The Office of the President of Ukraine has spoken about the moment when the third world war will begin. According to the adviser to the head of the OP Mykhailo Podolyak, today it is already obvious that the war in Ukraine is a globalized conflict of alliances about the rules of global behavior.
As Podolyak said, “these concepts like ‘give Russia the territory and that will be the end of it’ need to be stopped, because this is only just beginning.”
