According to the expert, we will not see the planes in action until the end of Joe Biden’s term.

Ukraine was not given a sufficient number of F-16 aircraft due to agreements between US President Joe Biden and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin. This opinion was expressed on air by military expert, reserve colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Roman Svitan on Channel 24.

“Most likely, Biden promised Putin, firstly, to create easy conditions during the elections. We remember these 60 billion that we did not receive before Putin’s elections. And now Putin, most likely, promised Biden not to escalate the situation, seriously damage the prestige of the United States, if he does not hand over the planes. Biden really did not hand over the planes to us. He even did everything so that the European countries that could have handed them over to us, did not hand them over to us,” Svitan said.

He also added that because of this, Western partners have not transferred F-16 aircraft to Ukraine in sufficient quantities to date.

“It is not even known how many of them we have – a couple were shown, one crashed. And we simply do not see them anymore, we can say that Biden kept his word to Putin. And that we will not see F-16 aircraft until the end of Biden’s term – not until next week. The end of his term is January 20. Therefore, in the coming months, we will not see either the aircraft or the missiles that are transferred to them. This will all happen from February onwards,” Svitan added
