Witkoff described putler as “peaceful,” “Christian,” and “trustworthy.”

April 6, 2025

“Mr. Rubio, you are a father of four. Would you be persuaded that men who burned your house to the ground, abducted your children, and threatened your family were simply misunderstood—potentially even interested in peace?

Would you urge patience to the mothers of Kryvyi Rih who today are utterly broken in emotional pieces which will never be repaired as they mourn over the bodies of their dead children? Would you ask them to give you just another month so you can discover Mr. Putin’s “true intentions of peace”? Would you?

How can you, in good conscience, base U.S. foreign policy and the lives of more than 40 million innocent people on such a delusion?

What will you say to the mothers of Kryvyi Rih?

How will you answer the concerns of millions of friends of the United States — allies and countrymen who do not live in a fantasy world waiting for Russia to reveal itself — and who reasonably believe that your appeasement strategy toward Moscow emboldened Putin to butcher these children?

All you need to do is open your eyes to see that Mr. Putin has given you an answer to your question. But now we require one from you.”

To the Honorable Marco Rubio, Secretary of State,

Yesterday, the very hour you told journalists you remained hopeful that, within the month, we might learn whether Russia is “interested in peace,” the Kremlin launched ballistic missiles at a children’s playground in the hometown of Ukraine’s president—killing nine children in cold blood.

The murders were unspeakable. The world has now seen the images: children gasping for final breath, their small bodies crumpled beside swings where they had just been playing. We’ve watched mothers collapse to the ground, clutching the lifeless hands of their children, their screams etched into the memory of all who bear witness.

Mr. Secretary, you know—because you must know—that the abuse and murder of Ukrainian children is not a tragic accident or a one-time horror. It is S.O.P. for Vladimir Putin—the man your special envoy, Mr. Witkoff, recently described as “peaceful,” “Christian,” and “trustworthy.”

More than 20,000 Ukrainian children have been kidnapped by him. Nearly 700 have been killed, including the martyred children of Bucha, whom we remember this week.

You are a father of four. Would you be persuaded that men who burned your house to the ground, abducted your children, and threatened your family were simply misunderstood—potentially even interested in peace? Would you trust those who commit such acts, while others urged patience, insisting more time was needed to “discover their intentions”? Would you?

How can you, in good conscience, base U.S. foreign policy on such a delusion?

I don’t question whether you love your children, Mr. Rubio. I ask you to recognize that the mothers of Ukraine love theirs just as fiercely—and that many would rather die than continue in a world where those children are gone.

What further evidence do you require to understand Russia’s intentions?

To the free world, the White House’s recent rhetoric—that we merely need “a few more weeks” to assess whether Moscow seeks peace—reads not as prudence, but as fantasy. As capitulation. As grotesque betrayal.

Prove us wrong.

Over the past two months, the U.S. has made unilateral concessions to the men behind these missiles. We’ve echoed their talking points on repeat. We have voted with Russia and leading Communist nations in the United Nations and against our allies. We’ve weakened our own security posture. We’ve attacked and undermined Ukraine’s leadership as they struggle to protect their nation’s children from annihilation.

After yesterday’s strike, the United States government could not even bring itself to acknowledge the obvious truth: that Putin murdered these children. The U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, offered only vague condolences and called for the war to end—without once naming the killer.

So here we are.

Outside the gates of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the rest of the world seems to see clearly what still eludes you.

You posed a question: “Is Russia interested in peace?”

Yesterday, you received your answer. Here it is:

Tymofii, age 3 – murdered.

Arina, age 7 – murdered.

Herman, age 9 – murdered.

Danylo, age 15 – murdered.

Alina, age 15 – murdered.

Kostyantyn, age 16 – murdered.

Mykyta, age 15 – murdered.

Nikita, age 17 – murdered.

Radyslav, age 7 – murdered.

Sincerely,

DW Phillips, Esq.

Trump and Putin are in alliance to commit crimes against humanity, killing innocent children and civilians in order to get what they want. Not peace, but evil empire expansion by Putin to revive USSR and Vested financial interests for Trump while stealing Ukraine’s mineral resources.

Evil men in power. Holding Ukraine and the world at ransom.

Rubio is an impotent figurehead without any authority and now, without any of the credibility he might have earned as a one-time Ukraine advocate before his ego got the better of him. If he has an ounce of self-respect left he would resign.

The Freedom of Ukraine is the KEY EXISTENTIAL MATTER for the FREEDOM IN EUROPE ! IT MUST BE SECURED NOW, & Putin’s ‘multipolar world dream’ will fall like a house of cards, which it is! The ruZZian threat will be kept at bay EVERYWHERE in Central Europe, in the Middle East, in Africa & in the Arctic!

President Trump has a choice between:

  • ending this war LIKELY in one minute by credibly threatening Putin with the military power at his disposal. It would likely cost us ONLY jet fuel that Putin would have to refund in reparations together with his reparation payments to Ukraine & honorable to us Putin’s withdrawal on Ukrainian settlement conditions.

OR

  • becoming a DlSAPP0lNTMΣΝΤ
OF THIS CENTURY by entering into DlSH0N0RABLΣ negotiations that would GUARANTEE Putin will later start World War III ! No lives would be saved, millions more would be killed, raped & kidnapped, cities outside Ukraine would be razed & the costs would have to be repaid for generations.

The chances President Trump might do the former are practically nil.

EUROPE MUST TAKE OVER AND REPLACE AMERICA !

What happens to Ukraine will also happen to Europe!

  1. Everything in this war that has been happening on the ruZZian side since 2014 has been 100% predictable as reflections of the U.S. STUPlDlT¥, passivity, insufficiencies & C0WARDlCΣ. Putin has so far taken 100% advantage of those.
  2. The most unpredictable factor from the Western point of view has been the Ukrainian resilience, determination & near matching of their ruZZian opponents.
  3. ruZZia is no match for Ukraine suitably supported by the West. Relatively little is required to tip the scales in this war. In 2022 it might have been just a few dozens of Polish MIGs, not very much more at multiple later occasions.
  4. Ukraine is already the key to future European security. Only M0R0NS don’t understand that.
  5. How goes Ukraine, the rest of Europe is likely to go.
  6. The military & economic power of the West exceeds that of ruZZia many tens of times.
  7. Since the end of WW2 there hasn’t been more important war in the world or a greater political/military scandal for the U.S. &/or NATO not to stand up to Putin.
  8. This war could’ve been prevented/stopped by the U.S. &/or NATO since before it started in 2014 & at every moment afterwards.
  9. “Our” ‘wait & see’ attitude is that of sheep lead to the slaughter. It’s a SCANDAL !

Putin is at war with the West, but we are not at war with him yet.

Even if we were to shoot back, say, in the no-fly zone defending Ukraine, it would only be fulfilling our obligation under the Budapest Memorandum. It would not be WW 3, just doing our local duty. It would not require a declaration of war – it would be polite to notify Putin & notifying him would not cause any harm.

There is a wide gap of clear water between these two situations, and a long bridge would have to be crossed between dealing with Putin firmly, which we must do, and entering the war, which is not necessary yet. Many still do not understand this difference.

  • We must allow Ukraine to defend itself by attacking all war-related objects in ruZZia.
  • We must shoot down all war-related objects violating NATO territory.
  • We must ground the shadow tanker fleet violating sanctions and stop all arms trade, etc. en route to ruZZia.
  • We must enforce a no-fly zone over Ukraine and its perimeter.
  • Ukraine must defeat Putin with our sufficient help, unless Putin withdraws.
  • We do not want or need to start WW 3. If Putin starts it, we will join in, which will be the end for Putin.
Putin might put it differently. Don’t let him. Don’t do what he wants you to do.

  1. Witkoff’s stupidity is mind-boggling. Or, is he wicked? I think it’s both options.
