Canada just held a secret industry meeting to select its next deep-strike weapon, and the requirements list Ottawa is asking for reads almost exactly like a Ukrainian deep strike drone spec sheet.
We don’t know which companies were invited to the secret meeting in Ottawa. My guess is Ukraine’s FirePoint, possibly some UK contenders, and MDBA.
I break down the Canadian Deep Precision Strike Capability program, why Canada is looking past expensive missiles like ATACMS toward cheap, mass-producible one-way attack drones instead, and why the factory behind the weapon may end up mattering more than which company wins the contract.

Glory to Ukraine. Glory to the heroes. Crimea is Ukraine.

It’s not only the U.S. that’s been shooting down flies with shotguns. Greece only recently wasted three Patriots to down a few drones. Who else in the West has also not learned anything from the war against Ukraine?
