Can’t say it enough; regardless of what the US does, Europe must get up and get things done! It’s high time!
Boris is confident that Trump won’t betray Ukraine.
It depends on one’s interpretation of the word “betray” doesn’t it?
The Budapest signatories betrayed Ukraine in 2014 and successive presidents continued.
Obama was completely uninterested in helping Ukraine. Biden said before he became president that he would be a lot tougher than Trump and his old boss. He kept Ukraine in the game; that was all. He was very clear that Ukraine would not join Nato and gave a variety of excuses, including the insulting “corruption” lie. As if Nato isn’t already riddled with corrupt shitholes! Turkey, Orbanistan, Ficostan etc.
Biden even put out an OpEd in the NYT that said what he would and would not do for Ukraine; a very useful handbook for putler.
Now Trump and the pro-ruZZia turds he handpicked are busy setting out even more things they won’t do for Ukraine. Talk about rewarding the aggressor!
Any settlement proposal that leaves putler in control of ANY Ukrainian land is a BETRAYAL.
Any settlement that does not require the return of the 300,000 Ukrainian children is unjust and sick.
Any settlement that does not require putler to pay in full for all reconstruction costs and pay full reparations is not viable.
Insisting on a presidential election? Yes, there should be one: for all Ukrainians in a free Ukraine.
Ukrainians should not be required to sit opposite putler, unless he is awaiting the scaffold.
What do you think, Scradge, why Boris is so confident about Trump? Did they have a good talk together once, and Trump told Boris a thing or two that bolsters Boris’ faith in the orange guy?
Boris is confident with Trump because he has been listening to Trump instead of the biased media who spin everything he says, like Scrage does too, unfortunately. Boris is also quite used to that abuse after being PM.
As long as the military aid keeps coming, I’m cool with Trump, but we’ll have to wait and see about that, don’t we?
As for the US, Trump has been a disaster so far, especially with the help of that Nazi, Musk.
They are friendly from back from when he was London mayor. They bonded over brexit.
Boris was like me, torn on Brexit. Eventually he decided to back it. I was against it, but later supported it when I saw the undemocratic response of the remainers. But later I backed remain again, because we allowed it to go through without protecting freedom of movement.
I naively thought that I would still be able to live in an EU country without restrictions. But they brought in the absurd 90 day rule; you can stay in an EU country without visa for only 90 days out of every 180. That is just an insane restriction of freedom.
Trumpkov wanted Britain out because like his protege Farage, he likes things that help ruZZia and weaken the EU.
I think we now have to rejoin and help them form an EU army, because Nato is dead. An EU with British and French nukes and Ukraine as its backbone would be enough to keep Europe safe.
They must kick out all the ruZZian satellite regimes first and bring in Ukraine immediately.
None of that will help Ukraine right now though.
We need to assemble four combat divisions: UK, France, Poland and the Scandies. Plus provide air power.
We then need another two divisions from somewhere. Could our commonwealth friends Canada, Aus and NZ contribute? That would be one. Where would the sixth one come from? Maybe Czechia, Holland, the Balts etc could cobble something together?
Could Germany send a division if Merz wins? Doubtful.
Ukraine would have to hire mercs I think.
putler is adding another 150,000 scum this year. The Polish researcher whose work I posted stated that putler wants a land bridge to Kaliningrad. I think she is right. The Suwalki Gap is the likely area of attack.
I also think that Svitlana Moronets in the Speccie is probably right : Trumpkov will likely abandon Ukraine and Ukraine will have to provide its own security. They can only do this with the $300 billion of putinaZi cash.
Boris has written another OpEd in support of Trumpkov. I will post it.
Thanks a lot for clarifying things up for me, scradge. I suppose that fat tick, Merkel also played a role in Britain’s EU exit.
I hope everyone is wrong about Trump dumping Ukraine, but the likelihood is great.
Either way, it’s time for Europe to grow up once and for all. Some have already smelled the coffee but many are still sound asleep. The Germans are still too much engrosed with other problems outside the realm of Ukraine, mafia land, and war. We’ll see what’ll happene when Merz wins. I hope he does with a large margin, which will bolster his decision-making abilities. I’m not sure yet what effect Vance’s meeting with the AfD has had on the polls. This disgusts me to no end. The German press has already criticized this very much.
Yes, post the OpEd from Boris. Boris is always a pleasure to hear from.
