Enemy air strikes were launched at the rate of several per minute, targeting the very same thermal power plants that had been restored after the devastating attack of 2024.

The most massive Russian strike on Centrenergo’s thermal power plants since the war began resulted in a complete shutdown of power generation, with the loss of power that had been restored around the clock. This was reported on Facebook by Centrenergo’s press service.

“An unprecedented number of missiles and countless drones, several per minute, were targeting the same thermal power plants we restored after the devastating attack of 2024,” the statement emphasized.

Centrenergo noted that less than a month had passed since the previous attack and that “tonight, simultaneously, the enemy struck our entire generation.”

“The plants are on fire! Our thermal power plants are not military installations. We don’t manufacture weapons! We employ civilians. We’ve stopped… Now there’s zero generation. Zero! We’ve lost everything we’ve been restoring around the clock. Completely!” the statement reads.

At the same time, Centrenergo emphasized that they will restore, repair, and implement new generation because they have no other choice.
