Some European companies are stealing the secrets of Ukrainian drones and then receiving huge contracts to produce them, the British newspaper The Telegraph reports , citing Roman Kniazhenko, CEO of the Ukrainian company Skyeton.

According to him, representatives of European companies visited his firm with offers of cooperation, but used this time to try to find out its secrets.

“Then they make great presentations about how they work in Ukraine. But in reality they have only flown a few times in Lviv. Sometimes I open presentations of other [unmanned] aircraft from Europe and see literally my own words, without any changes,” Kniazhenko said.

He noted that as a result of such manipulations, European governments are diverting “billions of dollars” to purchase products from companies that “have no idea” about modern military technologies.

“They are investing in technologies that are actually fakes. In the end, you will have nothing,” Knyazhenko said.
