We must stop being frightened and start being fierce

Are we so frightened of death that we have lost the will to live?

If you run from a bully, he will chase you, if you snivel he will beat you, if you pay him, he will take what you have and demand more. However, if you make it clear from the start that you will fight him (if you must), he has to consider his future. Will I, or won’t I? Can I win? What has he got that I don’t know about? Will I get hurt? Fear is a two way weapon. Remember, he will be concerned about what I might do (unless of course I tell him). The bully must consider whether the consequences of winning will result in serious injury to him. If so it will not be worth fighting. The victim has to accept the consequences of resistance, regardless of the outcome, the alternative is slavery.

Since Russia invaded Ukraine, politicians in the west have done a wonderful job of informing Putin of what they have, what are afraid of, and what they are not willing to do. They are not willing to spend too much on defence, not willing to put boots on the ground, and not willing to give enough power to Ukraine to win. Embedded journalists provide up to date information about Ukrainian ammunition stocks and troop movements, they report on how troops are short of artillery ammunition and casualty figures. Russia doesn’t need an intelligence network when our people do the job for them. The enemy doesn’t need to reconsider, they know our minds.

President Macron is the first to realise that simply suggesting he could put troops into Ukraine has power, it changes the dynamic. It introduces the idea of escalation at a high level and it makes Putin wonder if he is serious. If more countries ‘discuss’ this possibility it affects Putin’s current assessment of western resolve. We should return to the claim that ‘nothing is off the table’ and make it clear, there is not a point at which we will abandon Ukraine.

Putin with his puppet Medvedev have rattled the nuclear sabre at Europe every time they are under pressure. They threaten world war, they threaten and threaten and threaten, and our media do the rest. Are we so frightened of death that we have lost the will to live? Alexeii Navalny wasn’t, and Zelensky isn’t!

The united powers of NATO can crush Russia militarily and economically should it be required to do so. We must stop being frightened and start being fierce. Follow Macron and Zelensky, face the bully down and force him to accept the consequences of his actions. Make Putin reconsider, make him wonder whether it is worth it, make him realise that he cannot win and we will not relent. It is time for him to go home.

I think the common term is ‘get some!’

  1. If we destroy RuSSia – China will become the ultimate economic and military superpower. We, ruled by gay cowardly losers, will sink like the Titanic. Since rampant corruption in the greedy West is even worse than in Ukraine. My father always told me that it’s all about the money. Not lives, not feelings, not hope, not law, not principles, BUT MONEY. Cheers! 🎯
