Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko held a meeting with ministries and state-owned energy companies regarding Russian attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector .
She reported this on Telegram, Censor.NET reports .
“Restoration work in the regions began immediately after the outages, repairmen, power engineers, and involved services were already working across the country at 7:30. There are instructions for each region. All services are working to restore power as soon as possible.
In Kyiv and Kirovohrad region, we expect full restoration of water supply by the end of the day,” the report says.
Critical infrastructure in the capital has now been restored, and work is ongoing.
The Ministry of Energy will provide an update on the situation in a few hours.
“Kyiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions currently have emergency outage schedules and special schedules, which will be separately reported by the Ministry of Energy and Ukrenergo. During the work, alternative energy sources have been provided on site – generators, unbreakable points, and additional communications,” the head of government noted.
Also, in Kyiv and other regions, the number of police patrols on the streets and in transport has been increased.
Massive shelling on October 10, 2025
On the night of Friday, October 10, 2025, Russia carried out a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine, in particular on Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Dnipro, Poltava region, and Cherkasy.
At least 12 people were injured in the capital , 8 of whom were hospitalized.
A seven-year-old boy died as a result of shelling of a residential building in Zaporizhia .
Explosions were recorded in Dnipro, Kamianskyi and Kryvyi Rih . A 66-year-old man was injured in the Synelnyky district and hospitalized.
A high-rise building in Kaniv was damaged by a rocket strike. One person was injured.
In the Poltava region, an energy infrastructure facility in the Kremenchuk district was damaged due to falling debris and direct hits .
This attack is part of a continuing escalation of Russian shelling of Ukrainian cities, targeting energy infrastructure and civilian targets.
It is known that the Russian Federation used 497 UAVs and missiles for the strike . Air defense forces neutralized 420 targets.

Because Ukraine has morals, they are not murdering genocidal war criminals. Even though attacks on energy technically a war crime, Ukraine should put mordor into the darkness.
Ukraine must reciprocate with the same savageness.
