Russia’s attack on Zaporizhzhia: the father of the deceased boy spent three years in Russian captivity.

Now he is fighting for his life.

The father of the boy who died in Zaporizhzhia as a result of a Russian strike was held in Russian captivity for three years.

According to Suspilne , a relative of the family said the man returned from captivity in the spring. She added that the family bought a house in early spring.

The boy’s parents are currently in the hospital.

“The ambulance arrived, and they carried the child out, almost dead; they could feel his pulse. Doctors tried their best, but they couldn’t save him. They bought the house in early spring,” a local resident said.

A relative of the family told the local publication “5th Redaktsiya” that she learned of the tragedy from a call from her daughter-in-law.

“My daughter-in-law called at 2:22 a.m. to say that a plane had landed at their house and everything was on fire. That the ninth [unit] had taken my husband’s brother, and we don’t know if they’ll save his legs or not. I told her he spent three years in captivity so he could die here, at home. The boy wasn’t saved in the hospital. He was seven years old,” a relative of the family stated.
