☝️ That’s not how it works, Vlad
Russia started this war, so war must come to Russia.
💥 Russia began bombing #Ukraine
So Ukraine gets to hit russia too.
Russia asked for it.
These are basic rules of war.
🙄 You can’t call 🇺🇦 attacking 🇷🇺 with western weapons a ‘red line’ when 🇷🇺 is already attacking 🇺🇦 with Iranian and North Korean weapons on a daily basis.
🚀 So when Moscow lined up artillery and began shelling Kharkiv from right across the border, they basically agreed to turn that region into a warzone.
Ukraine returning fire using donated weapons has nothing to do with it.
🙈 Moscow now hides behind artificial ‘red lines’ ironically dictated by the cowardice of Ukraine’s allies (!)
Allies who, one by one, declare this ‘red line’ doesn’t exist, and that Ukraine is free to return fire using their weaponry.
🚨 Screaming ‘escalation!’ or ‘WW3!’ won’t work either.
The Kremlin tried the same trick when the West sent Javelins, HIMARS, tanks, ATACMS and now F-16s, or when Finland and Sweden joined #NATO
Guess what happened?
☢️ Nuclear war? ☢️
No. Nothing happened at all.
☝️ The best way to make our world a safer place is by disarming the most powerful weapon of any dictator:
Their lies.
We disarm Moscow’s empty threats,
By calling the dictators bluff.

🇺🇦 Ukraine’s need to target russian territory
is valid, fair, and a normal aspect of warfare.
Do you want Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine, turn into Mariupol?
While russians target Ukrainian critical infrastructure and kill civilians with a terrorist approach,
while russians bomb Kharkiv from their territory just 30 km from the border, ‼️ 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝟓 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 — 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 ‼️
Ukraine is not allowed to target the military bases and places in russia from where these attacks originate.

Two critical topics for European leadership are:
1️⃣ Whether to lift restrictions on the use of supplied Western weapons for strikes inside russia.
2️⃣ Whether Ukraine’s partners should send their own troops to Ukraine to help with the training of Ukrainian recruits.
🇪🇺 EU countries are deeply divided on both subjects.
✅ Countries like the U.K., France, Denmark, the Baltics, The Netherlands, Finland, Poland and others have no problem with Ukraine hitting targets in russia.
That’s also the position of NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg:
“By having too many restrictions we are tying one hand of the Ukrainian armed forces on their back.”
🚩 the USA, Germany and Italy are against it.
Although Antony Blinken, Secretary of State, supports this move.

“War must come to russia”
Yes, every day, every night, massively, and brutally.
