In the Lviv region, six cruise missiles hit three critical infrastructure facilities.
A full-scale war continues in Ukraine , and early on Saturday morning, June 1, opponents carried out a massive attack on our territory. Energy facilities located in five regions were under attack.
Energy facilities in Ivano-Frankivsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions were attacked, Energy Minister German Galushchenko wrote on Facebook. “The consequences are being clarified. Energy workers are already working to eliminate them,” the official emphasized.
The head of the Kirovograd regional state administration, Andrey Raikovich, wrote in Telegram that this morning the enemy attacked the Kirovograd region with missiles, and an energy infrastructure facility was hit. “According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties. All relevant services are already working,” he shared.
After explosions occurred in Zaporozhye, the patrol police of the Zaporozhye region reported that traffic along the Dnieper hydroelectric power station was temporarily blocked. “The detour is carried out through the Arched Bridge of Khortitsa Island (Sergei Tyulenin St. – Sechi St. – Taganskaya St.). As well as through New Bridges and Khortitsa District,” law enforcement officers added.
During a night air raid in the Lviv region, six cruise missiles hit three critical infrastructure facilities, said Maxim Kozitsky, Chairman of the Air Force.
“During a prolonged air raid, which lasted from 03:29 to 06:10, six cruise missiles hit three critical infrastructure facilities in the Lviv region. There is destruction. There are no preliminary deaths or injuries,” he wrote on Telegram.
According to him, anti-aircraft missile units, aviation and mobile fire groups of the West Air Command destroyed 18 missiles and six Shahed-type drones in their area of responsibility.
