We all want to see a supporter of Ukraine win the US presidential election. However, would it be a good thing for us?
The Biden administration supports Ukraine, but only to the extent that we receive just enough military and financial aid to barely hold the frontline. We are not permitted to strike Russian military bases with any of the Western-supplied weapons or F-16 jets. We were stopped from executing a special operation against Russian leadership this summer, and the White House demands an explanation for the Ukrainian invasion of the Kursk region. In this case, Ukraine is treated like an aggressor in American politicians’ eyes. We are not allowed to achieve any strategic goals. This is very, very strange and humiliating for our bleeding nation that is being assaulted by the Russians daily.
We appreciate all the help that has been provided, but we have not received enough support to win this war. But, we clearly understand that if Kamala Harris wins the upcoming election, the current strategy and attitude toward Ukraine will not change.
Also, why did Washington not reapprove the Lend-Lease Act? We need the $500B that the Trump team proposes through a lend-lease program, which would allow us to acquire enough weapons to beat the enemy. Does it mean that Trump will give this money to us? Not at all. We know there is no guarantee because Trump changes his mind constantly.
Our allies are worried that we will be unable to repay half a trillion dollars. Well, if Ukraine is given enough money to liberate all of our territories, we will be able to pay the money back with the over 20T in natural resources that are located in our country. If the US strategy does not change toward enabling Ukraine’s victory, this war will last for years and exhaust the country to the point where we will not have any people left, no natural resources, money, or any means of existence.

All of you vote for Trump and you will see what a real world leader can do for not only Ukraine but the entire world.
Trump is openly pro-Russia and anti-NATO. He would pressure Ukraine to end the war on terms favorable to Russia. This is obvious. He was literally impeached for spreading Russian propaganda designed to help justify the war.
Best if we (USA) don’t do war management and actually give what has been promised. #StrengthIsInUnity #GloryToUkraine #GloryToHeroes
It would be ideal, but looks like illusion for the real life situation.
Time for me to make a prediction (guess) as to how Ukraine will benefit (or not) based upon the upcoming president race. With one candidate, we do have the age issue to contend with. And that will relate to the questions, “whose side is he on really?” And “will his tendency to hold grudges, and the related signs of mismanagement and making the wrong decisions (ie Covid outbreak), mess up the hopes for growth of this country in the next four years, much less decade?” As for the opponent, she’s quite young and relatively speaking “less experienced” than past presidents, “how might this most her decision making? Or deciding to choose sides? Is she to be more trusted because we can see her asking “council” and “experts” about what to do with specific things, like becoming more aggressive in how we side with our future NATO member? I don’t see her mimicking the slow turtle-like nature of her predefessor. And we certainly don’t want her to become as unpredictable as the man to take her place – he who lives making under the table decisions with foes, for personal gains and reason. I cannot say with certainty that I trust him more than I do her. He’s got a “baggage and emotional behavior problem.”
Brian Altonen Trump is 100% on the Russian side, obviously.
Ukraine is battling against the country that curated int’l terrorism against the west two generations ago, and was the first post-Soviet country to join the US in our Partnership for Peace Program, gave up its nukes and conventional arms at our insistence, and now what? It’s not bizarre. Its obscene and moronic that we don’t see the impending implosion of our global deterrence credibility if we don’t stand firm with the best ally we’ve had.
There are many opinions regarding Ukraine and what the US should do or not do. Look, I respect each of you and your interests; whether you are Republican and love Trump or a Democrat who loves Biden, I am fine with that. Also, I respect average Americans who say, “Why do we have to spend billions of dollars helping Ukraine? We have problems in the US, and our government must spend the money on these issues first.” They live their peaceful lives in the middle of Tennessee and have never been to Ukraine, and all they care about is having enough money to take care of their family. This is also okay. Let’s respect each other’s opinions. We Ukrainians want only one thing: for this war to be over, and you should respect this as well.
Andrew Pryma, MBA, Most people in most countries don’t know anything about geopolitics. It is critical that Ukraine win, not only for Ukraine, but for Europe, the US, and the international order in general. Trump represents a clear and present danger to that (and to NATO in general
This is interesting but looks at the shortcomings of the current administration without recognizing that the drivers of this are Republican resistance in the house and senate to any aid to Ukraine. Obviously not all Republicans, but most Congressmen and Senators. A Trump GOP administration would make things worse. When looking at Trump’s proposd lend-lease plan, it would we worthwhile considering how many of trump’s slogans actually became policy. The answer is not many, and none that benefitted allies
That is incorrect. You may be thinking of Republican Senator Rand Paul, who indeed help up approval of transfers, or some of his fellow GOP members. if you are referring to exports of specific weapon systems, or use of certain weapon systems within Russia, then you indeed have a point but it was certainly not only the current administration. Otherwise this is factually incorrect, and the Biden administration used rarely used executive powers as far back is 2022 to accelerate and delivery of aid over the objections of many Republican congressman and senators.
Trump has been extended an invitation to visit Ukraine. I personally think he talks a good story but doe not have the guts to visit and see what is really going on. Kamala on the other hand wouldn’t know which border she is visiting. Regardless of who wins the election, we, the people, are in big trouble
Trump would likely push for a ceasefire and force Ukraine to cede territory to Russia. Harris would likely continue Biden’s policies.
Trump says a lot of things, but in the end he always does what Putin wants. Remember how he tried to cut aid and blackmailed Ukraine during his reign, and repeatedly threatens to pull out of NATO? Kamala is by far the lesser of two evils.
Trump is openly pro-Russia and anti-NATO. He was literally impeached for spreading some of the propaganda Russia uses to help justify their war against Ukraine. Trump’s campaign manager (Manafort) was a pro-Russian agent in Ukraine.
Ukraine should be supported to the fullest extent possible against Russia, but not without conditions; complete US audit access to all government entities receiving financial or material assistance; no assistance until Ukraine mobilizes like a country fighting for its existence. This means conscripting all able bodied citizens aged 18 and above.
Kamala Harris does not display anything new or different, it is all consistent with Biden and current administration behavior over the last 2+ years towards Ukraine and many-many years in the Middle East. Many people (including me) realized it some time ago: the real intention is to prolong the war, people/countries future uncertainty and bleeding…by providing some real help to survive. Please, do not be fooled by nice words on TV and Congress, analyze the real facts on the ground and sequence of the events during the war period. Trump was never ” the friend of Putin”, vise versa: because of his unpredictability and strength on the foreign policies Putin ( + other dictators) was afraid of him. Note: all the 21 century wars against Ukraine were initiated during the Democratic party ruling.
The better question is who in the USA has a better END GAME policy to win the war for Ukraine? One cannot point the finger to the USA alone if it expects leadership. I’ve said all along: USA, NATO, EU, UK – could have ENDED this war in a few months. Logic and strategic common sense shows ONE and ONLY ONE psychotic despot in the Kremlin against the western alliance. Core problem: NO LEADERSHIP who can set the END GAME.
Trumps running mate on Ukraine “I gotta be honest with you, I don’t really care what happens to Ukraine one way or another.” Trump/Vance must be stopped….

“if Ukraine is given enough money to liberate all of our territories, we will be able to pay the money back with the over 20T in natural resources that are located in our country.”
Ukraine tried appealing to the world’s compassionate instincts when exposing the vileness of putler’s genocidal plan.
All to no avail.
So let’s try the money angle. Does anyone apart from nazi maniacs really want a demonic dwarf like putler to get hold of $20 trillion worth of resources?
Now FFS end this horror.
The Zel peace plan is the only game in town.
Andrew, wake up. Biden/Harris never did a thing for Ukraine.
You are correct about Ukraine potential growth, but you’re backing the same administration Israel said were leaking information to the Iranians and Russians before attacks. That’s why America was not told about Tehran nor Kursk.
Not good.
The strategy should always have been to underwrite Ukrainian victory.
Just saw a clip where Putin gets a report on the doings in Kursk Oblast from Gerasimov. The poor boy looks like he was handed a snake. Jake Broe’s latest has the report. It’s funny watching Putin’s face.
“…the White House demands an explanation for the Ukrainian invasion of the Kursk region.”
Anybody have a source for this statement?
It seemed to be a disinformation campaign from the mafiosi.
“Russian disinfo: U.S. demands Kyiv’s explanation about Kursk region attack”
https://global.espreso.tv/news-russian-disinfo-us-demands-kyivs-explanation-about-kursk-region-attack
Thanks. What Kirby actually said was “US officials will be reaching out to our Ukrainian counterparts to get a better understanding of the situation.”
Looks like Pryma didn’t get the memo.
The only visible strategy from Biden’s squishmallow administration is that of not letting mafia land lose this war.
Masses of murdered women and children.
Masses of raped women and children.
Masses of tortured civilians and soldiers.
Wanton destruction of civilian infrastructure across the country.
Deliberate destruction of hospitals.
Deliberate destruction of schools.
Deliberate destruction of kindergartens.
Massive theft of Ukrainian agricultural products and other natural resources.
Mass looting of Ukrainian properties in every occupied settlement.
And more.
All this doesn’t seem to concern Biden’s squishmallow administration. The evil warmonger shall not get defeated. Period. The United States has become a gutless wonder.
