The US Department of State has suggested that the NATO summit in Washington could discuss the potential shooting down of Russian missiles flying towards Poland in Ukrainian skies.

Details: The day before, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Poland would engage NATO allies in discussing the possible downing of Russian missiles and drones over the territory of Ukraine. Miller was asked about the US position on this idea.
“I don’t have any changes when it comes to either U.S. policy or NATO policy to announce today, but obviously any time the – a NATO member wants to raise a policy, they have the ability to do so and discuss it with other heads of state.
They’ll have a summit this week and I’m sure that is something that could be discussed if the – if he (Donald Tusk – ed.) would like to do so,” Miller said.
- On 8 July, Ukraine and Poland signed a bilateral security cooperation agreement.
- Zelenskyy said that the agreement includes a provision to develop a mechanism to shoot down Russian missiles and drones launched in the direction of Poland within Ukrainian airspace.

Everything leads us to believe (I hope I’m wrong) that:
At the NATO summit, neither the Polish plan (Erdogan against), nor the unlimited targeting of bases on Russian soil will be approved (Kirby).
They will announce with a bang a 2025 budget which could be completely canceled in November… Pathetic
I don’t see how anyone could argue against knocking down Moskali missiles that have been targeting children’s hospitals. Are we really that afraid of pissing off petite putinka even after seeing what Ukraine has done to his potemkin army?
