The Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine conducted a successful operation to damage an airfield, an oil refinery and a power substation in three regions of the Russian Federation. An informed source informed the UNIAN correspondent about this.

In particular, thanks to the joint operation of the SBU and the State Security Service, “cotton” blossomed at the Akhtyubinsk military airfield in the Astrakhan region, at the 500 kV electrical substation in the Rostov region, and at the oil depot in Kalachi-on-Don in the Volgograd region.

As the source noted, during the drone attack on the Akhtyubinsk military airfield, Russian Telegram channels wrote about the operation of the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile system and a series of powerful explosions. At the same time, later Russian resources deleted this information.

In this regard, the source states that this indicates a successful attack, because usually the Russian authorities clear the information space when important military objects are hit.

“The SBU, together with the GUR and other Defense Forces, will continue to ensure hot summer nights at Russian military facilities working for the war against Ukraine. The enemy will pay for all its inhumane crimes,” the informed source said.
