The Trump campaign has already begun crafting a narrative around Harris’ decision regarding Walz.
Former US President Donald Trump’s team, who is running for re-election, began attacking Minnesota Governor Tim Walz immediately after Vice President Kamala Harris chose him as her running mate.
Trump campaign sources told CNN they believe picking Walz will help them make the case that Harris is a radical liberal. The Minnesota governor is the favorite among liberal candidates.
“Never deviate from our progressive values. One man’s socialism is another man’s neighborliness,” Walz said recently.
The Trump campaign has already begun crafting a narrative around Harris’s decision on Waltz, with one source saying the vice president “bent on a knee to the anti-Semitic, anti-Israel left and chose someone as dangerously liberal as she is.”
On social media, the campaign and super PAC MAGA Inc immediately began promoting some of the research they had been collecting on Waltz as they prepared for Harris’s final decision. Trump has called the Minnesota governor an “incompetent liberal.”

Walz famously served 12 years in Congress, representing a conservative, rural, Republican-dominated district. But over the past week, he has made several statements against the Republican Party. His comments about Donald Trump and J.D. Vance, who he called “weird dudes,” have become a meme.
I think she just took a pretty good shot and threw it away with that pick. Over 60% of the population are centrist. They don’t care for the far left or right. Oh well. .
Probably not going to go over too well with Minnesota voters either. But if successful, think he may become first VP that rode in a sling shot.
