The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov is confident that the unsuccessful blitzkrieg of the Russian occupation forces on Ukrainian soil will end in a successful Nuremberg on trial for war crimes.

Reznikov announced this on the social network Facebook after visiting the liberated city of Gostomel, over which the Ukrainian flag again flutters.

“Dozens of local residents just the day before, for the first time in more than a month, were able to leave the dungeon where they were hiding from the fascists of the 21st century without fear and the threat of being shot,” the minister said.

As Reznikov noted, today, together with the commander of the defense of Kyiv and the operational direction – the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Alexander Syrsky and the Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky, he had the honor to thank the Ukrainian army for their tireless struggle, for the resistance they offered to the occupier. “We are surrounded by craters, remnants of armor and terrible evidence of the actions of war criminals – destroyed cities and cynically murdered civilians,” Reznikov said.

“We will restore and build everything, and for crimes against humanity, all those involved, led by the main actors of the Kremlin, will answer not only to the Ukrainian people, but also to the international court. Russian fascists will be held accountable for every Ukrainian life taken away and mutilated. Unsuccessful blitzkrieg will end with a successful Nuremberg, and the phrase “I was only following orders” at the Nuremberg trials will not save a single criminal,” he stressed.

  1. Unless the Russian army and the Russian government is eviscerated, I fear they will get off. Nothing happened after other atrocities as Russia was left standing.
