Drones have struck a factory in the Alabuga special economic zone in Tatarstan (Russia), where Shahed drones are manufactured . This was reported by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), on Telegram .

“Alabuga in Tatarstan, where the Russians produce Shahed/Gerani and various fakes, where they have increased production, somewhat loudly, and somewhat successfully in places,” he wrote.

At the same time , he notes that this plant produced more than 6,000 drones in Alabuz in 2024, and thousands of decoy drones.

“This year, the Russians were tasked with producing 8,000 to 10,000 Shahed/Geraniums per year and 15,000 decoy drones in Alabuz,” Kovalenko adds.

As “Reporter” reports, there are “strong arrivals” at the plant.

“1 UAV was shot down, the remaining 5 with 250 kg bombs flew exactly to the target,” the report said.

It is noted that the distance to the impact site is at least 1,129 km from the border with Ukraine.
