These photos are for those who say they are “tired of the war.”

📍Roman Hyrylyk, senior checkpoint controller at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant, has returned after two years in Russian captivity.
He was among the 169 National Guardsmen taken hostage by invading Russian forces during the seizure of Chornobyl in March 2022. They were illegally transported via Belarus and hidden from international observers.

⛓️ Eighty-nine of them remain imprisoned to this day — used as human bargaining chips for exchange against captured Russian troops.

🔍 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝:
▪️ Systematic psychological and physical abuse
▪️ Starvation and untreated illness
▪️ Isolation from family, legal representation, and ICRC access

🗣️ “The condition of Roman and other Ukrainian prisoners of war is horrifying and evokes associations with the darkest pages of human history — the Nazi death camps.”

⚠️ This is not just about geopolitics or strategy.
This is a reminder: war crimes are still happening, in silence, in cells, in basements.

We cannot normalize this.
We cannot forget those still in chains.

Until Ukraine 🇺🇦🔱 has won the war, which is the only option, my reactions reflect my personal opinion, слава українців, героїчна слава.

I am not sure if pictures like this can convince the 🍊and his pets that they are talking with evil, and they should be talking with proper humans.

Horrifying to see pictures like this, in 2025, 80 years after the Nazi Concentration Camps were liberated. Even more horrifying to know that the United States of America, once the bastion, champion and guardian of democracy and liberty, is now not even voting against Russia in the United Nations to condemn its illegal invasion of Ukraine.

Every single one that says we need to negotiate needs to take a long good look at this and tell me looking into my eyes that we need to negotiate with murderers ,rapists and torturerers. There is no „deal“ to make the same as the Allies made no deal with the Nazi regime. Politicians need to show some spine.
