The United Russia party proposes to nationalize the assets of Western companies that announce the cessation of production in Russia amid the war in Ukraine.

As Andriy Turchak, secretary of the General Council of the party, said, such actions of Western companies are nothing more than premeditated bankruptcy.

The West unleashed a sanctions war against Russia, which included not only governments, but also private companies. Some of them are announcing their withdrawal from business in Russia and the closure of their enterprises. In all cases, it is a purely political decision. The price of which is a large number of Russian workers dismissed overnight. Not to mention the fact that by such actions these companies undermine their own economy, they act on the principle of “bees against honey”. 

This is a real war, and not against Russia as a whole, but against citizens. We will not look at it indifferently. We will take strong retaliatory measures, acting under the laws of war.
