Under no circumstances: Putin said he would not allow Ukraine to develop nuclear weapons

Russian leader Vladimir Putin, commenting on the possibility of Ukraine restoring its nuclear potential , called these statements a “dangerous provocation.”

He also stated that Moscow will be able to track any steps Kyiv takes in this direction.

“This is a dangerous provocation, and any step in this direction will be met with an appropriate response,” Putin said.

He noted that it is not difficult to create nuclear weapons in the modern world, but stated that Russia will not allow this “under any circumstances.”

Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the aggressor country,  Sergei Lavrov  , stated that Ukraine’s corresponding attempts to create nuclear weapons would not be successful.
