“Ukrposhta” cannot be stopped in providing delivery of parcels, press and written correspondence both to our heroic Armed Forces of Ukraine and to other clients.
The head of Ukrposhta Igor Smelyansky has already announced the opening of a new branch in Sudzha, Kursk region of the Russian Federation, where military actions have been taking place since yesterday and, according to Russians, Ukrainian troops have taken control of a number of uninhabited areas. Smelyansky posted a message about the expansion of the Ukrposhta branch network on Facebook .

“In order to ensure high-quality delivery of press parcels and written correspondence to our heroic Armed Forces of Ukraine and citizens of the Russian Federation liberated from the occupation regime, JSC Ukrposhta plans to open a branch at 12 Sovetskaya Street, Sudzha, on the site of the former Russian Post Office,” Smelyansky wrote.
He added that he would announce the time and date of the opening of the department later, since it was necessary to “remove the Soviet Union and certain consequences of military actions a little.” Therefore, he advises to follow the news.
Trolling by Ukrposhta of Russia
As UNIAN reported, Smelyansky trolled dictator Vladimir Putin back in August 2022 by issuing an order that the Kremlin belongs to Ukrposhta. At that time, Smelyansky responded in this way to the decrees of the Russian president recognizing the “independence” of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. The order signed by Smelyansky is called “On the recognition of the territory of the Moscow Kremlin as the property of JSC Ukrposhta.”
Subsequently, Ukrposhta introduced into circulation a series of postage stamps dedicated to the war with Russia, the first of which was the well-known ” Russian warship , go…! Glory to the heroes!”
