Russian Z-publics reported on the “seizure by the Ukrainian Armed Forces” of the Sudzha gas metering station in the Kursk region . Russia supplies gas to the Ukrainian gas transportation system through it.

It is noted that the route through Sudzha is the only one remaining of the five transport corridors through which Russia has so far transported its gas to Europe.

Russian “war correspondents” also complain that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have allegedly captured 11 settlements in the Kursk region and consolidated their positions there. Some claim that the city of Sudzha, although not captured, is already surrounded.

Fighting in Kursk region: latest news

As UNIAN reported, a Russian Mi-28 helicopter was shot down by an FPV drone over the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The SBU drone hit the enemy machine’s rear propeller. This is a unique case in the history of wars, but already has every chance of becoming a new tactic in modern warfare.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry is talking about allegedly huge losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in battles in the Kursk region. It is indicated that military actions are also taking place “in the areas of the settlements of Basovka, Zhuravka, Yunakovka, Belovody, Kiyanitsa, Korchakovka, Novaya Sich, Pavlovka, Gorodishche in the Sumy region.”
