Ukrainians conscripted abroad who have updated their credentials in “Reserve+” and have the status “wanted” must return to Ukraine and come to the TCC in person. 

This was said by the speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Dmytro Lazutkin, on the air of the telethon, answering the question of which of the Ukrainians who are abroad and have updated their data, should still return to Ukraine and come to the TCC. 

“First of all, those who downloaded the “Reserve+” application, but the “wanted” status appeared there. And if a person violated the rules of military registration. That is, for example, he was unregistered in one place, did not register in another, or did not register at all , left when she was not yet 17 years old, and now the time has come. There are a number of reasons, but first you need to contact the TCC and SP,” the speaker explained. 

According to him, there is an understanding that a small percentage of Ukrainians who are currently abroad can be included in the mobilization processes, since not all people plan to return to Ukraine. At the same time, he noted that Ukrainians abroad, one way or another, remain our citizens and the legislation applies to them.  

As for young men who have turned 17, he reminded that they must register for the military.  

“There is such a requirement, it also applies to those who are abroad. If these people plan to continue to be citizens of Ukraine, connect their future with our country, then it is worth doing. We must register with the TCC and SP”, – commented Lazutkin. 

According to his information, as of today, 1,371,000 Ukrainians – conscripts, conscripts and reservists – have updated their data through the Rezerv+ mobile application. More than 18,000 people living abroad updated their data. If we talk about women, it is about 190 thousand. 

At the same time, among all the people who updated their data through “Reserve+”, 164,000 are reserved, more than 153,000 are conscripts, and more than 90,000 are deferred. 

“We can observe quite a jump in the activity of people who have already used the “Reserve+” application. There are even more downloads. Maybe people are waiting and will do it later. This is the general picture,” Lazutkin noted. 

Mobilization in Ukraine – details

In Ukraine, there is a period during which men of conscription age must update their military registration data. According to the new mobilization law, this must be done within 60 days from May 18.   

This can be done at the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC and SP), the Center for the Provision of Administrative Services (TSC) or in the electronic office using the “Reserve+” program, which was also launched on May 18.
