The deputy commander of the Black Sea Fleet for military-political work, captain 1st rank Andrey Paliy, was killed.

The Ukrainian military liquidated Andriy Paliy, Deputy Commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet for military-political work.

This was reported by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ex-deputy of the Kiev Regional Council Oleksandr Aronets also said on his Facebook page that back in 1993 Paliy refused to take the Ukrainian oath and switched to the northern fleet of the Russian Federation. He also writes that the liquidated Russian officer in 2014 took part in the annexation of Crimea. 

Where and under what circumstances he died is still unknown. Aronets noted that Paliy’s entire family is military. Grandfather in World War II was a company commander, his father was a sailor, he changed many ships during the Cold War, and his brother was the commander of the Saratov landing ship. 

Recall, as UNIAN wrote, from February 24 to March 18, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed five Russian generals . During such a period of time, the Russian Federation did not lose so much high command even during the Second World War.
