Putin has isolated himself in an information bubble and listens only to “true believers” in his ideas. The President of the Russian Federation communicates only with those who share his obsessions and worldview.

This is with reference to the words of intelligence officers and psychologists reports BBC News.

According to the publication, Putin is stuck in a closed world created by himself. This worries Western intelligence, whose specialists have been trying for many years to understand what thoughts and ideas the head of the aggressor country has. Now that the Russian Federation continues the war in Ukraine, which began on February 24, the task of understanding Putin’s thoughts has become even more important.

“There were rumors that the Russian leader was ill, but many analysts believe that in fact he became isolated and closed off from any alternative views. His isolation was evident in the photographs of his meetings, for example, when he met with President Emmanuel Macron. They sat at the far ends of the long table. This was also evident during Putin’s meeting with his national security team on the eve of the war,” one Western intelligence official explained.

Putin’s original military plan, according to experts, looked like it was designed by a KGB officer. It was created with an emphasis on secrecy. But as a result, Putin got chaos. Russian military leaders were not ready for war, and some soldiers crossed the border without knowing what they were doing.

According to intelligence officials, Putin is isolated in a bubble of his own creation. Very little outside information gets into this bubble, especially one that might call into question what it thinks.

“He has become a victim of his own propaganda in the sense that he only listens to a certain number of people and blocks everything else. This gives him a strange view of the world. Risk is what is called “groupthink”, when everyone strengthens his opinion. If he is a victim groups, I think we need to know who this group is,” said psychology professor Adrian Furnham.

Putin’s entourage has never been large, but when it came to the decision to invade Ukraine, his circle of contacts narrowed down to a handful of people “true believers” in the worldview and obsessions of the Russian president.

Now experts are very worried about the fact that Putin’s “bubble” does not get reliable information. Perhaps, before the start of the invasion, his intelligence provided him with relatively truthful data, but gave too optimistic forecasts. But now, according to intelligence, Putin may still be unaware of his failure in the war in Ukraine.

Experts are trying to predict the reaction of the President of the Russian Federation to sanctions and increased pressure on him and his country from around the world. Putin himself once said that as a child he tried to catch a rat, but when he cornered the animal, it went on the attack. Thus, he himself became a runaway, and the rat went into the “attack phase”. Experts and politicians fear that Putin will become even more aggressive if he is cornered.

Earlier, UNIAN has already reported that  Putin is now in complete panic . According to the Prime Minister of Britain, the President of the Russian Federation is afraid of the beginning of the revolution in Moscow.

  1. What do you do with someone like this? Even a bullet between Putin’s eyes will only resurrect a Putin clone. With the recent article about the attitudes of Russian people, I’m discouraged there can ever be peace. There certainly wasn’t any peace for my parents who fled Stalin.

I guess I can only pray and hope

    • I also lost hope that the ruskie sheep will rise up to end their slavery. But, ruskie sheep enjoy being slaves too much. The only hope is that sanctions will be kept in place, even after Ukrainian victory, to let mafia land’s economy shrivel in size to that of, say Somalia’s.

    • It is often said that the people of Moskovia will not rise up because there is no choice. Its one thing to take out a dictator or czar but who to replace him? Lenin? Stalin? So they do nothing. This is why Putin eliminates all competition so his people will have no choice.

  2. The parallels to Hitler are uncanny. It would be nice if he ends his life like his idol … a gunshot to his head while squatting in his bunker.
