A Ukrainian flag was flown over the Russian-occupied town of Hola Prystan in Ukraine’s Kherson region. A drone carrying the community’s flag flew over the occupied settlement, while Ukrainian troops also placed a loudspeaker in a busy area of the town, broadcasting Ukraine’s national anthem across the city. The symbolic action served as a reminder of Ukraine’s continued claim to the occupied territory and its people. The video comes amid recent Ukrainian battlefield gains, including the recapture of dozens of settlements in southeastern Ukraine. Ukrainian forces have also raised the national flag in recaptured areas, marking the restoration of Ukrainian control.
