Ukrainian-born Republican Congresswoman Victoria Spartz lost her race for the U.S. House of Representatives in Indiana to Democrat J.D. Ford.

Spartz lost to Democrat J.D. Ford 51.66% to 48.34%.

According to The Hill , Ford, a state senator, beat Spartaz in the race for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. The result was a surprise to observers, as Spartaz represents a district traditionally favored by Republicans and previously not considered competitive for Democrats.

“Ford’s victory is a serious wake-up call for Republicans who expected a good night for Democrats but believed they could pull off victories in traditionally Republican strongholds,” the newspaper wrote.

Journalists noted that Ford will be the first Democrat from Indiana in the House of Representatives in more than 30 years.

  1. She’s been a pig for a long time and a traitor to her heritage. Notwithstanding the trouncing TRUMPKOV received, this was a highlight of my night.
