Ukraine’s Air Force has destroyed two more Russian Sukhoi Su-34 fighter-bombers.

Background: On the morning of 29 February, Ukraine’s Air Force Commander reported that the defenders destroyed a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber on the eastern front. Given the current information, as of 29 February, Ukraine’s Defence Forces have downed 13 Russian aircraft since the beginning of the month.

I doubt the pilots have any say in all of this. The orc commanders seem to vying for top position in the race for the most incompetent commander in the orc military.
Yeah, Foccusser, hardly believable that Russian pilots may be so extremely motivated and ‘gung ho’ to bravely accept such miserable odds. Much more likely that everybody involved, pilots and their generals, are acting on orders from very high above, under threat of certain execution, into these kamikaze attacks. Putin’s throwing everything and everybody into the breach, to exploit the temporary “window of opportunity”, it seems. This reminds of the (in)famous 1944 offensive in the Ardennes, when Hitler unscrupulously wasted his last strong units and best equipment in a futile attempt to turn the tide of war. Sheer madness by a dictator who had lost his sense for reality! 😖
