At the same time, recalling that Ukraine urgently needs 7 Patriot batteries, he emphasized that “some of these complexes have already, let’s say, been allocated to Ukraine, appropriate decisions have been made, and we are still working on some.”

As for security agreements, this is also a relevant component of ensuring Ukraine’s security, he emphasized.

According to him, 17 such agreements have already been concluded to date.

“And I can announce that this week there may also be new countries with which we will sign security agreements. With some countries we have already completed the final rounds of negotiations, with some we are still carrying out relevant work. This is part of our security. After all, in every agreement a specific amount of military support for Ukraine is allocated for this year. We have calculated and already today in the 17 agreements that have been concluded, more than $32 billion have been fixed for this year alone. Let me remind you that each agreement says that at the same pace, with. These countries will support Ukraine with the same dynamics in the next 10 years of these agreements,” Zhovkva emphasized.

The Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine noted that the agreement with the United States of America states that the United States will support Ukraine “until victory” and will support both during war and during peace.

“This work will continue (regarding the signing of security agreements – UNIAN). We want all those countries that have joined the declaration of security guarantees, and there are more than 30 of them, to conclude such either bilateral or collective agreements with Ukraine. And we will try extend the G7+ declaration on security guarantees to other regions, not only the North Atlantic region, Japan, which has concluded security guarantees with Ukraine, has a positive precedent,” he said.
