International partners have provided Ukraine with more than a thousand tons of defensive weapons and military equipment.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said this during an online briefing .
“Ukrainian diplomacy has been working in an enhanced anti-crisis mode for the third month already. Before that, we worked in an enhanced anti-crisis mode, and now we have doubled the anti-crisis mode. We are in constant contact with partners and continue to consolidate the international coalition in support of Ukraine. Thanks to this work, today Ukraine receives an enhanced political, economic and security support. Its total volume over these weeks and months has crossed the $1.5 billion mark, and the volume of defensive weapons and military equipment delivered to Ukraine has a total weight of more than 1,000 tons,” Kuleba said.
As the head of the Foreign Ministry emphasized, the record volumes of support are of great political importance, as they strengthen Ukraine’s position at the negotiating table.
“Now the key theme of world politics is to prevent another wave of Russia’s war against Ukraine. This is not an exaggeration,” Kuleba said.
He recalled that the leaders and foreign ministers of many foreign states are talking about the likelihood of such a scenario.
The minister noted that now is a very difficult and responsible time, but he assured that Ukraine is approaching this with a cool head and a warm heart.
At the same time, the minister said that Ukraine would not make any concessions that would be unacceptable.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on January 26, Kuleba said that military assistance was provided by the United States, Great Britain, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and the Czech Republic.
In particular, since January 22, the United States sent 8 aircraft with weapons and military equipment to Ukraine.

The weapons were sent to protect the people, not to let Ukraine’s government shift to arrogance and refusal of concessions. The threat is real, that’s why arms were sent. Don’t play with lives, but instead try to avoid a war by all means. Ukraine’s army is strong, but so is Russia’s. A full scale war would be bloody and cruel. Keeping all options on the table to prevent it or stop it while it is happening is imperative for Ukraine to survive.
Why should Ukraine concede anything, they invaded nobody?
They would once it’s about the survival of the nation. Claiming the already lost Crimea is not helping Kyiv in defusing the situation. This is not about international law or fairness, this is about Ukraine staying alive or being wiped. A Ukraine without Crimea is still better than no Ukraine at all. I know my position is not popular here, but among real ukrainians it is. In case Putin is bluffing you can pass what i wrote, in case he does it’s a survival strategy. Being tough as a politician and posting online is easy, facing 150.000 russians on the ground is not.
Only one problem with your scenario. Putin will never be happy with just Crimea or Donbas. Should he get those, he would move on to his next target, a landbridge to Transnistria, all because Ukraine conceded to Putin. Nope it stops here now, if Ukraine give in to blackmail, they might as well give Russia the whole of Ukraine.
I never mentioned Donbas or any core part of Ukraine. Putin wants Crimea at all cost. If he won’t get it legalized he will come for more. If he wanted all of Ukraine he would already have started a full scale invasion eight years ago.
Ask yourself, bro, why would Putin take Crimea after Maidan? He already has the biggest country on earth. Why would he risk everything?
I guess my answer is because he is like a small percent of ruSSkis that truly believe in Russki Mir. I think Sir Foccusser is right, he will not stop and likely his successor won’t either. They are imperialistic at heart.
Putin needs a warm water port so he can pressure the Black Sea countries and have access to pillage Africa and South America.
NATO should back Ukraine to take Crimea back and the entire world and especially Europe would be much safer. Putin can transplant all the Moskovia scum he wants there, and I know one Russian there, but it is still legally Ukraine and he cannot be allowed to break the law because a dozen others will try too. Millions will die.
